Progress-a-plenty!

This week is going so well. The electrical inspector came yesterday and approved everything. We didn't even know he was coming, he was supposed to call, but luckily the door was open to the addition. So late last night, Paul worked on the insulation- yes I said insulation! Now I'm getting excited! He actually got about 70 percent of it in last night so if all goes well, we'll be drywalling this weekend! Yeah!

I got our taxes finished and efiled last night. Not as good of a refund as last year, but Paul had unemployment benefits last January so that sort of messed us up. Oh well.

Tyler started drama last week at the art center. It's a musical called the Dreamcatcher. He's pretty enthused about it and is still in chorus so we are doing alot of running four out of five days. That drives me crazy cause it's hard to get naps in for Tayton. Paul and Joy are helping me out on Thursdays though. Tyler got all A's on his report card Friday, he is a diligent little student. We won't get Katia's until mid February.

Tayton is still struggling with sleeping which means I am too. I almost gave in and put him back on the medicine this weekend, but I was strong. It's so hard. He is getting a ton of new teeth- I could really see them today so I HOPE HOPE HOPE that's what's going on.

Well, we're supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow today. It was rainy and slushy this morning, but everything is supposed to change over this afternoon. It's been the warmest winter here. Mid thirties during the day when it's normally in the teens or below in January. Now they are saying our February will be cold, but we'll see. Global warming baby!

Hey Joy!
We actually already have helped previously bartered for. Paul did a ton of work on my friend Nicole's trailblazer and in exchange her husband said he would help up put in the drywall. And it all has be moved piece by piece from the garage. We'll have to find one other guy for that part cause they are so heavy. We were stuck with the insulation and planning part again, like where the inside walls will go and cable, etc so we were out there "thunking" it out last night. We had to change the size of the bath cause it was just too small for my shower. I think we have it set now:)
Awesome weather lately eh! I can see alot of grass in the yard now. Talk to you later!
Love, gina
