Well, things were upside down and now they are upside up! A new Gina-ism:-) I had such a roller coaster week last week and it all ended up on Saturday night- with a stirring and inability to sleep after my prayers. God spoke to my heart as I had been praying he would. It was seeing the plank in my own eye before admonishing another for the plank in their eye! If I was to be a maturing Christian, then I needed to examine my own iniquities, repent, apologize to them and God. I thought I could just shut this person out and move on, but God sure doesn't like that. We are to forgive seventy-seven times seven right? Even if that person keeps doing the same things over and over again- we can't stop forgiving them. Afterall, God never stops forgiving us. And now, I'm back on track!
Tayton slept all night last night- very awesome! I hope it will continue- I've managed to wean him off those middle of the night feedings and now only have one more to go. And I am hoping that as the pediatrician said, he will relearn a new sleeping pattern and not wake up hungry.
Paul is trying to walk on his foot without crutches. It's not shooting pain like it was he says and he wants to show the doctor Wednesday that he can return to work hopefully. I don't know how he'll be able to stand on it for nine hours a day, but we are sure seeing miraculous healing everyday!
Katia's big dance revue is coming up this Saturday- so we'll have some extra practices and rehearsals this week. I cannot wait to see this show!
Tyler bought a full set of golf clubs off of ebay with his birthday money(saved since February!) We haven't received them yet though, I'm hoping we didn't get ripped off. He would be so devastated.
I'm going to plant four mountain ash trees today- Marlene gave me them last night and I just love the one Dad and Joy have in their yard. It's supposed to rain all week so that should be good for them to get started in their new yard. I am also hoping Paul can get that rototiller running today so I can get my garden finished and ready for next week's planting. We have to wait till after Mother's Day around here before trusting that the frost is over.
Thank you all for your prayers, they mean so much to our family! On with the week....
