I sure do look forward to Wednesdays. Tuesdays are so filled with running that once I know I'm at this half point in the week, breathing is easier! Course, that will all change later this month. Katia's dance revue is coming up and that means lots of extra practices. She was chosen for what they call a lead part in the story number of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her class are Oompa Loompa's- and she's a "button girl". So her teacher told me yesterday that she'll have two additional practices this Saturday and next. The parents are allowed to watch the girls' lessons until about November and then we have to wait until May to see it on stage.(The parents are a distraction to their learning:-() So I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. It sure is amazing what little girls can remember!
We finished putting in our tile last night. It turned out great, we're almost there! I've been looking for months for a chandelier without much success. I check ebay regularly for new ones and even they are too pricey. And I've looked at all the obvious places around town,Iron Mountain and websites. I know I over think things way too much when it comes to buying anything. I have to love it enough to make the purchase or I will just wait. I'm so glad Paul and I are alike that way.
I forgot to mention that two weeks ago, I put Tayton on the toilet before his bath and he went potty!! Then we had our appointment in Marshfield so the potty training went to the wayside, but hopefully he's still interested in it. He has some of the signs that he's ready, but it would be nice if he could say Potty:0) So we'll give it a try again this week. Tyler was eighteen months when he was trained, so maybe he'll follow in his big brother's footsteps.
It sure is a bright sunny day here this morning, yesterday was another story. We woke up to some new snow on the grass and high winds. Several times yesterday while getting Tayton in the car, the wind actually slammed the door on my legs! Ouch! Maybe that was our last taste of winter- I sure hope so!
Well, I wonder if Joy will put up a new blog on their latest news. If not, be sure to ask her.
