Milestones

Things are happening in our house. We moved into our dining room last night after putting new felt pads on our chairs and table. It's so weird to have a 'dining room'! I've always had kitchens with an 'eating area'! The addition has a long way to go yet, but part of this project has always included putting a double closet in the kids room which is on the other side of our current eating area. So construction again starts and it will be very messy in the kitchen. We're hoping to borrow a sanding device for the drywall that has a vacuum attached to minimize the dust. We always had the addition sealed off by the old window so we didn't have a mess in the regular part of the house, but this will be inevitable. At least we're able to spread out a bit.
Mr. Tayton climbed and fell out of his crib last night- so the toddler bed will get set up tonight. I know this will likely mean major struggles with bedtime, but maybe if he realizes that Tyler and Katia don't get up, maybe he won't:-) I can hope! I'm also trying to wean him from nursing in the night and it's been rough. He just doesn't want to give it up without a fight. He's not resisted much of the other weaning ever so it must be a comfort thing. But what is comforting to me is that in some ways he has truely shown growth and milestones. He has tried to go potty, is talking more each day, and now will move to a big boy bed. Whah!! My baby IS growing up! He is still very attached to his mumma though, just ask Paul!
Tayton had a chiro appt. and she said it was the probably his worst one so far- that's troubling. I told her about his fall, but these adjustments identify the digestive part again- anterior sets. His appetite has again dropped off this week, so I wonder if it's a link.

It has been so beautiful here the past two days, at least 10 degrees higher than the weatherman stated which is awesome- it's been 66 both days! Tayton and I played outside alot, blowing bubbles and then today the little stinker took off running into the woods! His terrible twos are also showing!
