Well, Tyler's play was fantastic! He didn't seem at all nervous and it was a really colorful little thing! The Catherine Bonifas Arts Center was the theater- it's quite old, Joy probably knows about when it was built. All the money goes right into the building, which is needed. His cousin Tiffany is also in it and she had a special group singing part which was awesome too. I loved the whole thing!
Tomorrow morning, we'll leave for Marshfield, Wi for Tayton's appointment. Not looking forward to tomorrow's sunrise at all. I'm hoping and praying that the Dr. will let me stay with him until he is asleep this time. He's old enough this time to realize that strangers are taking him from his parents to a place he's never been. I don't want this to be an experience that will really harm his little pyschie for years. At least this time, he'll also be able to enjoy the play area and the cool fish while having the pH study in his nose(to his stomach). That part takes 24 hours. So we'll be home Thursday night. Tyler and Katia want to go. That will also be the hard part. Katia was crying about it last night. My mom will come and stay at our house while we're gone which should work the best.
Then there's the unknown of what they will find. I am feeling quite a bit of stress about this trip, I know I need to give it up. It's out of my hands. It's hard to know what is the best approach to take. I mean there's no guideline for parents except that I feel the best would be a child that is medication free. But I don't see myself taking him to the Chiropractor every week as we have been. I don't think that's normal either while it certainly helps for about four or five days, there's an underlying problem that we're fighting against. And to look back, it's been 18 months that he's dealth with this. He's definately more comfortable during the day if we stay away from alot of foods, but the night is still sleepless. Please pray for us this week.
We primed the whole addition this weekend! Paul's sister offered to help so that was great. The three of us had it all primed Saturday night and we even painted the ceiling yesterday. I still have to pick out the color for the walls, there's just not enough time lately. It's getting there!
Have a good week!
