Over the past years, living here and there- we have found our favorite dishes from famous restaurants. With a budget that doesn't allow eating out, over time I have been able to duplicate the favorite things from our favorite restaurants! It's triumphant because we don't have to pay the high price of eating out to have those! Here are my favorites that I can make at home so far.
Kentucky Derby Pie- from Max and Erma's
Crab stuffed mushrooms- from Red Lobster
Thin crust pizza- from Mueller's- a famous restaurant here:-)
Spinach Artichoke dip- from Ruby Tuesday's
Alfredo sauce/white sauce with fettucine- from Crispinga's- another local restaurant that has closed
I'm working on a dish I loved from Cheddar's too- I can't remember the name of it but it's like alfredo spaghetti baked with parmesan and then topped with a little marinara and diced tomatoes.
I have alot more to work on. But when a special dinner is planned, like Valentine's day- adding a steak and twice baked potatoes to something above, makes it really take away the desire to bother with eating out and less expense for sure. It's like gourmet food right in my kitchen, who'd of thunk. :-)
