Little man

Tayton has been just cracking us up with his vocabulary and thinking. Here's some of the things he says.

He asked me about a week ago about a toy he had and wondered where he got it. I said, you got it from Grandma Joy. He responded with, " Yeah, but the question is...who made it?"

Or the other day, when I told him he needed to get out of the dishwater(for the fifth time)- he responded, "That's not the answer I was looking for."

Paul was scolding Tyler for being argumentative. Paul said, Tyler, you are not the boss- I am. Tayton ran in and said matter of factly, "No dad, you are not the boss- God is. God is the boss, Dad."

He was at the nursing home where Paul's grandma is and was with his Grandma Wilma. A man in a wheel chair asked her how old Tayton was. Wilma said, He's three. Tayton said convincingly, "No I'm not, I'm five." Grandma had to think about that one.

Naptimes can be a struggle. Recently, I was telling Tayton he'd better get back in his bed right now and take his nap or... and Tayton responds, "Or you'll spank the daylights out of me?" Try not to smile at that.

Everything is fabulous lately too. When I ask him if he'd like something to drink- he says, "that would be fabulous mom."

He wants to know what everything means too- it's a bit exhausting at times, but I just can't believe how much he wants to know. He's comic relief around here to say the least.
