Well this week has been busy. The kids had VBS all week which they really enjoyed and was wrapped up with a pony ride and a hayride all in the church parking lot! I worked Wednesday, but that was all. I tried to stay there for the group time with Tayton each day and he really liked that too.
The health department came out Tuesday, I think it was. We'll have to put in the pressurized mound system- which is the above ground system that we were hoping to avoid. We would covet anyone's prayers regarding the financing of it. My garden is in the exact spot of the new system- feel my tears here- all that work! I'm going to try to salvage as much as I can from it in pots. And an apple tree will have to be taken out as well:-(
We went to church this morning- all of us that is:-) Paul and the older two are fishing in the river by our house this afternoon. My dad isn't home and I haven't been able to reach him, but I suspect they are getting closer to home. Joy went with him this time as well as Shifter. Later on, we'll go to the inlaws to see Paul's dad. I made homemade apple pies for the guys this year for Father's day.
Well, I bought two raspberry plants on our way home from church at a neighbor's, so I guess I'll go plant them while Tayton naps.

So sorry to hear about the septic system...I will pray that God will provide the means to pay for it. And your garden...ohhhh that really stings.
I planted 6 blueberry bushes over the weekend, hope your raspberries do well. The pie sounds really yummy.

Thank you!
We have some wild raspberry plants, but not many berries usually so hopefully with two more plants maybe that will help. I have never seen blueberry bushes for sale! Did you buy them or did someone give you some? Very cool!
