We got at least three inches and our yard is flooded everywhere. The kids could barely get to the bus this morning! Our basement has water andthe sump pump is running about every minute! We see this kind of rain in April, but not later in the summer. Thank goodness I used the raised rows for my garden- I can at least see the tops of the rows so hopefully the seeds are alright. The paths around them have moats though:0)
Oh and we're supposed to talk to the Health Department this week- um...yeah. I can't see us passing a perk test this week. But then again, we're supposed to have some wind today so maybe, just maybe it will dry up out there faster than I can assume.
Poor Phoebe won't even go potty. She just stands under the stoop confused and wet!
Tayton says this morning as he looks out- Oooh- big puddles!!! We went to a cookout Saturday at the Lind's for all the Word of Life workers and it rained then too. So Tayton and this other little guy were playing the puddles, fishing, and splashing around. I can see the ponds we have now, will be a great attraction for him when and if we go to town today.
Last night we had the greatest fish fry! My dad has been fishing the Ford River alot when he is home and he's been the big bass slayer. He brings us the fish after he's caught them which we devour. Anyway, Wednesday- he picked up Katia to go fishing at the Ford
in the canoe. She caught the biggest bass! It was 18 inches and I'm sure not an easy thing to reel in while keeping balance in a tippy Hoefgan canoe! My dad caught one too that night although on the stringer that Katia is holding- her fish pretty much covers up his fish:-)

GOOD NEWS !! My stress test came back normal-praise our Lord!I am not sure what is next but when I go for my fasting blood work I will talk with my Doc about whether or not I really need to see the lung specialist.I don't think so.I wonder though if I should go and get all those x-rays back?Hey-I heard a saying "worry about nothing but pray about everything"So, lets' do that.
We got some real good rain over the weekend and now just a few min ago we got a little more.I pray your soggy mess dries up real soon and you can get that septic system where it should be. Love, always and 'Til we meet again or talk again"
Well the boys are envious that's for sure. I think this is the second time she has out-fished them:-) The bass are really running in our river though- our friend Jason caught an even bigger bass the other night- he said it was a 19 3/4 one although there are no pictures- ahem so...my dad has sure been catching them though. They have to be 14 inches to keep them.
I'll email you about the tests Grandma-that's great news and answered prayer!
