Changing seasons

There was a chill in the house this morning, the temps must have dipped down last night. I think I even heard our furnace run. We have two large Bass trees and a maple close to the house and one of the bass trees has lost all, but about four leaves! The other one is still green. Very strange. I had been outside last night and that familiar smell of fall was in the air. We had been told by the weather man that this was the warmest summer in the U.P. in forty-four years so I guess it's time to face a new season as today is supposed to be the nicest days of the week.

The addition is coming along, slow, but sure. Another part of the fall is the loss of daylight, so time is valuable around here after work. We've been patiently waiting for our siding to come in. Did I say patiently? I actually have been pretty patient with that and the one missing window we have also been waiting on. I guess there's no reason to get riled up about it since we knew this would be slow process. Patience usually is not a virtue I have.

Tayton is doing about the same, but I promise not to write about it anymore. In God's time I guess. I appreciate the prayers that all have had for him.

Well, have to end this for today.

Hello Grandma,
THank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. It means more than you know. I will look at aunt Chris' blog after this. I am also concerned about you being in Jacksonville alone. Dad said that you might also move with Aunt Chris? Course Dad and I would really like you to "come on home now" :-) He said he always tells you that. Talk to you again soon. Love you!
