We got some sad news today. Tyler's best friend since first grade is moving to Sault St. Marie. His dad owned a nursing home here and sold it to a company last year and stayed on as the manager. Well, it apparently hasn't been working out so now he's accepted this new job. Zach has been a really great friend- he and Tyler are both so alike. Zach and his family are Christians which is sort of hard to find around here. And they just lived down the road. Zach has been homeschooled for the past two years since they found out he is autistic. So this big change will not only be hard on Tyler, but extremely hard on Zach. His parents have also become friends of ours so we will be sad to see them leave. So many changes this fall. Seems that we are all dealing with the heartache of loved ones moving away and yet God has planned all this at the same time so that we can comfort one another.
Not much planned this weekend. Tyler is spending the night tonight at Zach's, Katia, Tayton and I are just hanging out and Paul is putting up some siding. I'm so proud of how well Paul has done on our addition. He really seems to like home construction work. It was so weird last year that God put him in so many roofing jobs through the church and working on Dad's roof that it was a nice break from "turning wrenches". I think it's definately a skill along with building that he could turn to if something were to happen with his job.
Well, I have to sign off for now. Have a nice weekend!

I'll check with Marlene the next time I see her. I guess Knoxville also had quite a storm- I saw some footage on the weather channel yesterday. Take care- hope the weather doesn't get too miserable for you all with the hurricane coming near. Dad talked to Uncle larry today- guess he's getting ready- bought some ice:0) Love you!
