This will be a busy day- Fridays are no exception. Wednesdays and Fridays are orchestra days, so Wednesday mornings, Paul brings Tyler and his very large string bass to school and I pick them all up. Fridays, Paul drops off the bass and I pick it up. That's what we do lately- haul around this teenage size instrument that weighs a ton especially with one arm cause the other is carrying Tayton! Who'd a thunk this orchestra thing would be such a big deal? Well, normal orchestra isn't- we have a flighty teacher to boot that is constantly either changing the schedule, thus ours, or at times just doesn't show up for the lesson and the kids are left wondering what to do. We have so many times, wanted to throw in the towel and wait till band next year, but Tyler seems to really like it although he hasn't been too serious about practice.
We'll have our final- yes our final inspection today! It's our mechanical- we had our final building inspection on Monday and it went fine. So they'll look over our furnace and ductwork and we're hoping and praying they won't make us install this air to air exchanger on our furnace. It's a whopping $800 on a good day. According to code, if your addition is less than half the size of your existing home, you don't need it though and we're under the half. We had gotten a price on topsoil to finish the area outside around the addition, but we'll have to wait till spring now. Anyway, this weekend we'll be busing moving rooms around since we can officially move in to the addition. Can't wait!
Well, that's about it. Have a good weekend!
