This morning was the usual routine. The kids actually had time to spare before the bus was to arrive. Yesterday morning, the whole family overslept, kids missed the bus and Dad was late for work. The weather around here has changed when the sun rises and little Tayton was also up all that night causing very dreary eyed parents. Back to today- the kids were waiting for the bus and Tyler ran back to tell me that there was an accident and a tow truck down the road. I thought, hmm, the bus is late, there's an accident- I better check the news. Sure enough, they had cancelled school due to icy roads. We're in for a big storm tonight I guess- I'll believe it when I see it. So I had helpers to make cookies for the nativity and we got done much faster than if I had made them alone. Tayton took a nap this morning while we made them so that helped too. I made a new recipe from my recent Taste of Home mag and added a few different twists and made a couple different versions. I had to promise that we'd make more so we could have some around here to munch on. And Paul requested sugar cookies too, so I'm not out of the "cookie woods" yet.
Well, Tayton is having a rough go of it this afternoon so I have to close for now.

Hi!
I think Tayton and Katia caught the bug, they have really runny noses, sneezing, and a little cough this morning. Those two always catch stuff.
Yeah, the kids had a blast- I let them both have a bowl with separate ingredients and them them mix their parts, then we added them together and they rolled out the balls. Sure helped a lot to have extra hands!
I Heard Cameron's program is postponed till Monday now. Not sure what time though- Katia's is at 10:15 or 1:30. I think I will try to go to her morning one. Depends on Tayton's nap though- usually that's his nap time in the morning.
The church found that cd for Katia so I have to go in and get that and do some shopping today. Lots of singing here tonight and tomorrow!
Love ya!
