Well, winter is here now. We got a couple more inches of snow last night and it's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
My blog will be taking a backseat this month. As I write this, there's alot of other things I should be doing instead. For the first time in three weeks, I was able to get up this morning with very little pain in my back. I feel it most during the night and if I've walked alot, but the Girl's weekend away is still on and I'm looking forward to seeing some friends that I haven't seen in a couple months. We'll leave Friday afternoon and come back Sunday night. Saturday night we will be going to a dessert theatre at the Green Bay Community Church. We've tried in the past to get tickets, but it was always sold out months in advance! My friend Tammy has gone before and usually plans our whole weekend so she was able to get tickets this year and I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hoopla is about.
Our church's Ladies Tea is tomorrow. The kids will sing at that and then again the next two Sunday mornings. Katia has a solo on Christmas Eve night and we have alot of practicing to go. Then next weekend is our Live Nativity. The weirdest thing for me this year is that I'm not involved in the Tea or the Nativity due to this back thing. The angel wings weigh about 50 pounds and the lowest point would be pressing right into my lower back. I just loved being part of it last year. Standing in silence in the winter air really makes you think what it must of been like the day Jesus was born. We have the story that plays and then some beautiful music.
Well, I guess I better get to those other things now. Love yas!
